You’ve read all the Blogger advice from the Pros. Now hear 9.5 Blogger tips from The Blog Whisperer.

Hello again, jeff noel, The Blog Whisperer here, from Orlando, Florida, next to Walt Disney World. It’s great to be back for a 2nd week to help you think differently. Do you dream of your social media campaign making a huge impact from your blog(s)? It’s possible to build a better brand and personal credibility, but there is a catch.

No one likes a catch, but you are old enough and wise enough to know that the long way is the short cut. The social media and blogging message here today is aimed at the beginner to intermediate blogger and small business entrepreneur. However, even seasoned blog veterans, and social media directors might learn something new. I have, after all, written 3,800+ blog posts with a steady, upward spike in readers, the past two years.

The interesting thing about my blogging style is the fact that I’m not trying to sell you anything, except hope and creative blogging ideas. And my inspiration doesn’t come from profits, it comes from helping people use social media, and in particular, blogging, to further their message – to reach more customers, more often.

All right, let’s get to this shall we? Here are 9.5 blogger tips. Some have been written about ad nauseam, others, perhaps counter-intuitive:

1. Create your story.

Tell your blog readers the back story. Why do you blog? There has to be a reason. Share it. This is often taken for granted by bloggers, when in fact it may be the best hook you have.

2. Craft your vision.

It should be clear, concise, and compelling. Emotional. Memorable. Exciting. Full of hope.

3. Check your enthusiasm daily.

No one will be more passionate about your vision than you. Your motivation is like a fire. Unless you continuously (not occasionally) add fuel, it’ll go out. Find a million ways to be a fired-up blogger.

4. Be the Blogger that’s always open.

Discipline yourself to blog everyday. Develop your Blogger reputation as having something new – motivation, fuel, insight, humor – every single day. Your blog readers will appreciate your dedication, and your passionate example.

5. Decide to be a world-class blogger.

Other than crafting your vision, this is the most important decision you have to make. World-class blogger: Are you in or out?

6. Blog differently or better (or both) than your competition.

There are some really smart, sophisticated, well-educated writers out there. And somewhere near 100,000,000 blogs, plus, Facebook, LinkedIn, You Tube, Skype, and all the other social media products. Why in the world should your blogging attempts be worthy of reader’s attention? Personally, I write 5 daily, differently-themed blogs. No other blogger does that.

7. Have a unique or buzz-worthy Blogger platform.

In a world full of plain vanilla, our blogger taste buds are ready, and willing, to try something new. Maybe you approach an age-old challenge in a refreshingly straight-forward manner, with an honesty that is clear and compelling – perhaps a call to action, for the world!

8. Have a call to action!

Abraham Lincoln was once asked to listen to a sermon from what his aid described as “the best Preacher he’d ever heard”. Lincoln obliged, and then making his way back to his horse and buggy, the aid asked, “President Lincoln, wasn’t he the best Preacher you’ve ever heard?” Lincoln said, No! He didn’t ask any of us to do something great!”

9. Love being a blogger, or don’t do it!

At the end of the day, your readers, people like me, can tell. And we’ll go somewhere else.

Well, that’s a rap. You know, my personal brand is to write short, pithy blog posts. You can navigate all five of my blogs on Life’s Big Choices in abut 2 minutes. Jorge Olson, God Bless him, has asked me to write nothing less than 400 words. At 687, it’s time to go. But remember…

The road to excellence has no finish line. You know this. If you’re not getting the results you want, it may be because you aren’t trying it differently enough.

These 9.5 blogger tips are must haves to anyone looking to stand out in crowd.
